Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Make Ready associate to restore vacated apartments to market-ready status on a timely schedule. The role supports maintenance teams, coordinates with leadership, and ensures units are prepared for new move-ins in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on call, including evenings and weekends. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete the make-ready checklist.
• Inform Lead Maintenance of needed services and repairs.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check lights and replace as necessary.
• Replace or repair windows, doors, shelves, mirrors, and baseboards.
• Inspect appliances and coordinate with Lead Maintenance on issues.
• Assist in moving appliances and furniture as needed.
• Make keys when necessary.
• Perform minor plumbing and fixture repairs; install backsplash when directed.
• Lend assistance during trash-out and provide help with heavy items.
• Handle general tasks as directed by management.
