Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at The Harrison in the Atlanta area. This role involves completing repairs, installations, and inspections to meet company standards and support the maintenance team.

You will handle basic plumbing, electrical tasks, appliance checks, and drywall work, while assisting with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to ensure market-ready units. Daily travel within a 25-mile radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in make-ready or maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple unit turns efficiently.
• Flexible schedules including on-call rotation.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by repairs, cleaning, and ensuring features work per the TQMR program.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including light fixture replacements, minor plumbing, appliance checks, and drywall patching.
• Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to meet market-ready standards.
• Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and support the team with work orders and groundskeeping as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, parking, breezeways, amenities, and common areas.
• Work independently while following company standards with attention to detail and resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
• Travel daily to assigned communities within region, typically not exceeding a 25-mile radius.
