Venterra Realty is hiring a Make Ready Technician at Clearwater Farm to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. You will perform repairs, cleaning, and inspections, ensuring units meet our quality standards and are market-ready.

The role includes on-call maintenance, traveling daily within a 25-mile radius to assigned communities, and contributing to resident satisfaction. Ideal candidates have prior make-ready or maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Prior experience in make-ready, maintenance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple unit turns efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintaining standards.
• Flexibility to work on-call and travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments by making repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features work per TQMR.
• Perform basic maintenance: light fixtures, minor plumbing, appliance checks, drywall patches.
• Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to meet market-ready standards.
• Maintain property grounds, parking lots, breezeways, amenities, and common areas.
• Work independently while adhering to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support team with other duties to maintain standards and resident satisfaction.
• Travel daily to assigned community within a 25-mile radius.
