Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician for Hunters Pond Apt. Homes in Champaign, IL. Join our on-site team to ensure vacant units are restored to market-ready status and prepared for new residents.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, caulking, tile work, appliance repairs, and basic carpentry. Requires own tools, reliable transportation, and good communication with residents and staff. On-the-job training and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• /1- Previous experience in building maintenance preferred but willing to train./
• /2- HVAC Certification or experience preferred but willing to train./
• /3- Possess own tools./
• /4- Maintain professional appearance following dress code./
• /5- Communicate effectively with residents and co-workers./
• /6- Basic computer skills; comfortable with software/apps./
• /7- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license./

Responsibilities

• Restores vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Completes full vacant turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting.
• Repairs or replaces appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows; performs carpentry and ceramic tile work.
• Completes administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assists with snow and ice removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
