Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Demonstrates good communication and responsive service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in using the community make-ready checklist.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and makes repairs or replacements as required.
• Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Fixes parts when possible to control costs and uses materials efficiently.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation timely.
• Attends safety meetings and completes OSHA training and related requirements.
• Provides courteous customer service by addressing residents' questions and concerns promptly.
