Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Make Ready to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status in a timely manner per the manager's timetable.

The role requires at least one year of related maintenance experience, strong English communication, safety awareness, and the ability to organize and prioritize work. On-call and weekend hours may be necessary; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related maintenance experience.
• Excellent English communication; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a make-ready checklist; inform Lead Maintenance and Community Manager of needed services and repairs.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check and replace lights as necessary; install or repair fixtures.
• Inspect and repair windows, doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and closets.
• Assist with painting tasks and minor plaster/ tile repairs as needed.
• Lend assistance during trash-out and help move items to the dumpster.
• Perform routine tasks to ensure apartments are market-ready on schedule.
