Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Grand Rapids, MI. You will restore vacant apartments to market-ready condition, perform repairs, and assist with snow removal, ensuring move-in readiness and resident satisfaction.

The role requires experience in drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or HVAC (training offered). You must have your own tools, reliable transportation, and strong communication with residents and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair and HVAC is preferred but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant-turn process to meet move-in deadlines (drywall, painting, caulking, grouting).
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and tile work.
