Edward Rose & Sons in Farmington Hills, MI is hiring a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant units for move-ins. You will perform repairs, drywall and painting tasks, and ensure timely turnover of apartments to market-ready condition.

The role requires basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. A professional appearance and the ability to communicate with residents and coworkers are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance preferred.
• Must possess own tools.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn software and apps.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting.
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
