Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team at Timberlane Apartments in Peoria, IL. You will help restore vacant homes to market-ready status and complete turn processes to meet move-in deadlines.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, appliance repair, and basic carpentry; HVAC knowledge preferred. You must have your own tools, reliable transportation, and good communication with residents.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring and appliance repair.
HVAC certification or experience preferred but training may be provided.
Own tools and professional appearance required.
Good communication with residents and co-workers; basic computer skills.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete full vacant turn to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
