Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to safeguard the property's condition, safety, and appeal across units and common areas.

You will implement preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, prepare work schedules, and ensure compliance with maintenance policies. You will lead maintenance staff, train teams, prioritize work orders, oversee make-ready of vacant units, participate in inspections, and manage purchasing and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced training or degree in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with administrative reporting and Yardi preferred.
• Experience managing others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, trains, supervises, and evaluates maintenance personnel.
• Prioritizes work orders and follows up on assignments.
• Supports the after-hours Emergency Call program.
• Responsible for all company-owned equipment and small tools.
• Participates in make-ready of vacant units and inspections.
• Prepares purchase orders and orders parts and supplies.
• Ensures compliance with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assists in unit inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Assists the Maintenance Director and Community Director as requested.
• Contributes to resident retention programs.
• Ensures unsafe conditions are corrected promptly.
• Familiar with safety rules and daily technology usage.
