Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas in Louisville. You will handle resident work orders, perform routine upkeep, and support make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

You’ll develop standards for appearance, inspect work quality, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining inventory and adhering to budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade required.
• Proficiency with hand tools, safety standards, and basic measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for community cleanliness and appearance across grounds, interiors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials within budget.
• Support budgeting for repairs and capital projects and assist with safety program compliance.
