Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure interior and exterior properties meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role handles work orders, performs repairs, and supports the make-ready process for upcoming leases.

Responsibilities include inspecting work quality, coordinating with vendors, maintaining tools and inventory, and assisting in budgeting and safety compliance. A HS diploma and hands-on maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled with tool handling.
• Ability to diagnose issues and follow safety and policy standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling.
• Develops cleanliness standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors and signage.
• Periodically inspects work by staff and contractors for quality.
• Maintains inventory of parts and orders supplies within budget.
