Job summary

Qualifications

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and performs repairs in accordance with policy, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and overall appearance reflecting URS quality standards.
• Inspects work by service team members to assess policy effectiveness and take corrective action when needed.
• Inspects work by contractors/vendors to verify quality, scope and specifications.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials and coordinates with Community Manager to stay within budget.

Responsibilities

• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in policy.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
• Conducts URS safety meetings and ensures MSDS sheets are current and OSHA requirements are followed.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing residents and questions with urgency and respect.
