Job summary

westdaleassetmanagement in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Technician I for a 309-unit apartment community in Greenway Plaza. You will turn vacant units into ready-to-rent homes and maintain grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, completing a duties checklist, and on-call duties; weekends may be required. Valid Texas Driver’s License is required. We offer a competitive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience at an apartment community.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 309-unitapartment community located in the heart of Greenway Plaza, just minutes from Downtown Houston! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
