Ronald McDonald House Atlanta is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to drive transformational giving and advance our mission of keeping families close to the medical care their children need. You will cultivate high-net-worth donors, manage a portfolio of 150–180 prospects, and collaborate across teams to maximize revenue.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Philanthropy and requires leadership in donor cultivation, stewardship, and planned giving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit/related field.
• 7+ years in nonprofit development with a track record of securing major gifts.
• Proven ability to identify prospects and cultivate donor relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with donor databases, Raiser's Edge preferred.
• Direct mail and planned giving experience a plus.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Senior Director of Philanthropy to set strategic fundraising priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of 150–180 high-net-worth prospects capable of transformational gifts.
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to acquire new donors, convert to recurring gifts, and upgrade to major gifts.
• Develop donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies aligned with the mission.
• Identify Planned Giving prospects and promote planned giving widely.
• Coordinate with development colleagues to align corporate, event, and major gift strategies.
• Work with program and volunteer staff to engage families and volunteers as donors.
• Maintain donor records and track interactions in Raiser's Edge.
