Missouri Department of Natural Resources seeks a Park Maintenance Technician at Knob Noster State Park to assist with maintenance on Katy Trail State Park and Rock Island Trail. Tasks include semi-skilled trades, building upkeep, and grounds care, with attention to detail and strong customer service.
The role requires flexibility in trades, occasional licenses, and a 40-hour week schedule with Tue-Fri shifts 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., plus professional development opportunities.

This position will report to and assist with work at Knob Noster State Park, 873 SE 10 Road, Knob Noster, MO 65336. Primary work duties will be assisting with maintenance on the west section of Katy Trail State Park, which goes from Clinton to west of the Pilot Grove trailhead, and the west section of the Rock Island Trail, which goes from Windsor to Pleasant Hill. This position typically works Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. Shifts may vary occasionally with the time of year and to meet the needs of the facility.

This position may be required to obtain and maintain appropriate commercial operator’s license (CDL), water/wastewater certifications, and/or other required licenses/certification. If required, and if you do not currently possess this license/certification, you will be given six months to obtain necessary license/certification.
