Castlewood State Park in Ballwin, Missouri, is looking for a hands-on maintenance assistant to care for facilities, trails, grounds and natural resources. This part-time role works about 12–20 hours weekly, with day shifts 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
or evening shifts when available, and schedules may vary with the seasons and funding. You will perform trash removal, general maintenance, carpentry, landscaping, trail work and habitat restoration tasks, and interact professionally with visitors.

This is a hands‑on position located at Castlewood State Park, 1401 Kiefer Creek Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021. The candidate will work approximately 12-20 hours per week depending on shifts. Standard shifts available include a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a 30 minute, unpaid lunch break and an evening shift, for three hours before the park closes. The shift lengths may change based on season changes and available funding. The number of shifts available may be flexible depending on the schedule of other part‑time employees. This position will include working in all types of outdoor weather conditions and is well‑suited for someone who enjoys learning new skills, solving problems and seeing the results of their work.
