Job summary

Missouri Department of Natural Resources in Jefferson City, MO, invites applications for an Administrative Support Specialist. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to two programs, the statewide construction unit and the deputy division director.
  • Assist internal and external customers by answering the phone and addressing or directing questions.
  • Schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and take meeting minutes as requested.
  • Prepare, proofread and coordinate internal and external correspondence.
  • Prepare, process, and track all personnel actions for the Director’s Office.
  • Perform data entry tasks including the vehicle software system (WEX) and program inventory.
  • Prepare and coordinate housing leases and reports; process rent payments; send rent certificates and reconcile leases and payments.
  • Prepare and code monthly credit card statements and expense reports.
  • Review, code and submit invoices for payment entry.
  • Order office and program supplies as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

This position will be located at Division of State Parks Central Office, 1659 E. Elm St., Jefferson City, MO 65101. Typical work scheduled is Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and helpful team member who enjoys working with other people.   • Prepare and code monthly credit card statements and expense reports
  • Review, code and submit invoices for payment entry
  • Order various office and program supplies as requested
  • Other related duties as assigned
