Job summary

State of Missouri’s Department of Natural Resources seeks a seasonal campground attendant at Table Rock State Park in Branson, MO. The role supports campers, reservations, and park operations; shifts average 20 hours per week with 3-4 days, through October.

Responsibilities include registering campers, processing payments, assisting park hosts, and providing information by phone or in person; evening and holiday hours required; temporary assignment not to exceed 1,000 hours.

• Register campers using a computerized reservation and POS system.
• Assist campground hosts with reservations and necessary paperwork.
• Ring up park items (camp sites, souvenirs, shelter reservations) on the POS system.
• Provide information to visitors in person and by phone.
• Perform light park office duties: trash, dust, sweep and clean windows.

This position will be located at Table Rock State Park 5272 State HWY 165 Branson, MO 65616. Shifts will vary from 3 to 4 days and approximate 20 hours per week. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, weekends, and night shifts. This is a temporary, seasonal position, not to exceed 1,000 hours total during the length of the employment.

Duration of Assignment: March 1 thru October 31.

• Register campers, using a computerized reservation and “Point of Sale” system.
• Assist campground hosts with managing camping reservations and provide them with the paperwork needed to complete their job duties.
• Ring up a variety of park related items to include camp sites, park souvenirs, shelter reservations etc. using a “point of sale” system.
• Provide information to visitors in person and on the phone.
• Trash removal and pickup around the park office. Dust counter tops, clean windows, and sweep cobwebs around park office exterior.
