Job summary

GDI, Inc is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and replace lighting fixtures, perform general repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, and other mall property, and inspect areas for safety hazards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following safety policies, and working both independently and as part of a team. Schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, with weekly pay and benefits such as PTO and EAP.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts and LED lighting in common areas, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
• Perform general repairs to walls ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
