Job summary

GDI, Inc in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repairs across mall properties. You will diagnose issues and execute repairs to maintain a safe, well-lit environment.

Work independently or with a team, follow safety policies, and use PPE. This role offers weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental and PTO.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork ability.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Safety oriented and able to follow policies.
• Must be able to climb ladders, lift and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace lighting in common areas, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
• Perform general repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and proper use of PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform general repairs to walls ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
