Job summary

GDI, Inc in Missoula, MT is seeking a maintenance technician to perform lighting, basic repairs, and safety inspections across mall properties. You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks and help maintain equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, ability to work independently or with a team, and adherence to company policies. The position offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, EAP, employee discounts, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repair techniques.
• Safety policies and PPE usage are important.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts and LED lighting in common areas, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
• Perform general repairs to walls ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
