Job summary

GDI.com is seeking a maintenance technician to support facility operations in Jackson, Tennessee. This role requires troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, performing general maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safety and upkeep of properties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Must be safety oriented and able to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace light fixtures in common areas.
• Perform general repairs to property as needed.
• Inspect property for maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts and LED lighting in common areas, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
• Perform general repairs to walls ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• A strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety Oriented
• Must be able to climb ladders, bending, lifting and working in varying weather conditions may be required.
