Job summary

Rite of Passage Brand seeks a Maintenance Worker to support Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Center in Lecanto, FL. This on-site, full-time role requires upkeep of facilities, basic electrical/plumbing, painting, and general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe environment for youth and staff.

A high school diploma is required; prior maintenance experience is preferred. Valid driver's license, background check, drug screen, TB test, and ability to work 40 hours weekly are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma. Prior building maintenance experience preferred (general building maintenance, minor electrical, painting, door hardware, minor plumbing, drains, etc.)
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance, drug screen, physical and TB test.
• Able to prepare written reports and correspondence.
• Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and possibly a varied schedule with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs at Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Center.
• Address electrical, plumbing, painting and general facility needs as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and document work performed.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with program and safety policies.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Maintenance Worker at The Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Centerin Lecanto, FL

Cypress Creek is a residential commitment program located in Citrus County Florida. It serves high-risk and max-risk youth ages 15 to 21. The goal of the program is to provide services utilize evident-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment and supervision.

Performance Based Compensation reviews are conducted annually (2%,4%, or 6%)
