The Facility Maintenance Worker performs work orders such as general building maintenance, HVAC maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, relighting, maintaining smoke detectors, emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc. Maintains the Facility vehicle fleet. Completes required reports and documentation on time.
Possess a High School Diploma or GED. A valid certification in at least one of the following trades: Commercial HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Carpentry, or Industrial. Prior Facility maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, and TB test. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and a designated schedule, with the possibility of a varied schedule.
