Job summary

Rite of Passage Team in Tampa, FL seeks a Regional Maintenance Manager (Certified) to oversee facility upkeep at the Tampa Corporate Office. The role covers HVAC and general maintenance, with reporting responsibilities and a focus on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a HS diploma, at least one trade certification (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Carpentry, or Industrial) and a valid driver’s license. Competitive pay negotiable based on certs and experience.

Qualifications

• Prior facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record for 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and upkeep.
• Maintain HVAC systems and related components.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Repair drywall, paint, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Maintain grounds and the facility vehicle fleet.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.

What you will do

The Facility Maintenance Worker performs work orders such as general building maintenance, HVAC maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, relighting, maintaining smoke detectors, emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc. Maintains the Facility vehicle fleet. Completes required reports and documentation on time.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

Possess a High School Diploma or GED. A valid certification in at least one of the following trades: Commercial HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Carpentry, or Industrial. Prior Facility maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, and TB test. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and a designated schedule, with the possibility of a varied schedule.
