Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Westgate Apartments in Jacksonville, FL. This on-site role involves hands-on maintenance across apartment interiors and exteriors, preventive maintenance, and responding to on-call emergencies.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC and good communication skills. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years hands-on property maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regard to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of apartment units and other interior/exterior areas.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Works with maintenance staff in keeping grounds clean and free of debris.
