Job summary

TRG Management Company, LLLP seeks a reliable Maintenance Technician to maintain appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment communities in the Miami area. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and resident requests, while contributing to on-call emergency coverage.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and excellent service to residents. On-site work with potential for growth in a multifamily portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance or related experience preferred.
• EPA Universal or Type II Certification preferred (or ability to obtain within required timeframe). HVAC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, drywall repair, appliance installation, and general repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, locks, and lighting fixtures.
• Maintain the property's common areas, amenities, grounds, and building exteriors.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and preventive maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the apartment community while providing exceptional service to our residents.
