Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Manufactured Home Community) to perform painting, remodeling, minor plumbing/electrical work and landscaping. The ideal candidate will work autonomously, follow health and safety guidelines, and uphold high standards for resident services.

Responsibilities include system setup and repairs, heating/plumbing maintenance, alarm inspections, general upkeep, pest control, budget assistance, and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up ventilation and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
