Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to support our manufactured home community. You will perform painting, remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, landscaping and general upkeep, working autonomously within safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has property or building maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and can manage multiple tasks while keeping residents' needs in mind. Weekly pay and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in property/building maintenance essential.
• Able to perform painting, plumbing, electrical work and landscaping.
• Must observe safety guidelines and work autonomously.
• CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
• Keeping grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
• Mowing, weed eating and hedge trimming (also includes maintenance and repairs of equipment)
