Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure hotel equipment and premises are maintained to the highest standards. You will follow Green Shield Binder tasks, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance to keep guest rooms in good repair.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English proficiently to interact with guests and staff.
• Follows safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and company standards.
• Writes routine reports and correspondence as needed.
• Handles basic arithmetic and uses units of weight, volume and distance.
• Judgment and decision-making when assisting guests and vendors.
• Resolves guest issues according to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures property equipment and premises are maintained to standard.
• Completes tasks per Green Shield Binder and management direction.
• Repairs items listed on work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and records results.
• Maintains organized work areas and safeguards tools and equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with management as needed.
