Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions and guest rooms remain in good repair. You will perform tasks per the Green Shield Binder and directives, respond to guest requests, and carry out cleaning and preventive maintenance to keep the property pristine.

You will maintain records, manage tools, and assist with emergencies while adhering to safety standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English proficiently.
• Ability to follow safety rules, procedures and standards.
• Occasional use of basic math in work.
• Ability to interact with guests and associates professionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment functions and guest rooms are in good repair.
• Perform tasks per Green Shield Binder and management directions.
• Respond to guest requests with follow-through per policies.
• Carry out out-of-room cleaning to maintain pristine premises.
• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs as scheduled.
• Maintain records and inventory of maintenance tools and inspections.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management as needed.
