• Minimum of two years hands-on apartment maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• EPA or CFC certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in general apartment maintenance (painting, cleaning, repairs).
• Perform hands-on maintenance of the property, inspections, repairs, and general upkeep of interiors and exteriors.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and record findings in a maintenance log.
• Provide on-call emergency service as required.
• Maintain grounds and keep areas free of trash and debris.
• Maintain and service mechanical equipment including water heaters and HVAC units.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus and replace faulty components.

Maintenance Technician – Chandler, AZ

TRG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chandler, AZ. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and plays a critical part in the resident experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing maintenance of office, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Perform hands‑on maintenance of the property, overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of interior and exterior areas.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance functions and record findings in a maintenance log.
• Provide on‑call emergency service as required.
• Work with general maintenance staff to keep grounds free of trash and debris.
• Maintain and keep up mechanical equipment including water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures; replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of two, 2 years of hands‑on apartment maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• EPA or CFC certification (preferred).
