TRG Management Company in Chandler, AZ seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our communities’ operations through hands-on property maintenance, electrical and building systems service.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to on‑call emergencies, partner with the Maintenance Supervisor, and contribute to a clean, safe resident experience. This role offers base salary with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years hands-on apartments maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• EPA or CFC certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in maintaining office spaces, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs.
• Responsible for hands-on maintenance of the property and common areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems and components of machinery.
• Performs preventative maintenance and records findings.
• Provides on-call emergency maintenance as required.
• Maintains grounds and keeps areas clean and safe.
• Monitors mechanical equipment including water heaters and HVAC units.
• Diagnoses malfunctions and replaces faulty electrical components.

TRG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chandler, AZ. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in the operations of our communities and is one of the most important aspects of the resident experience. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regard to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Responsible for the hands‑on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and other interior/exterior areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on‑call emergency service as required.
• Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Monitors the maintenance and keep‑up of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of two (2) years hands‑on apartments maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• An EPA or CFC certification.
