Job summary

TRG Management invites an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will perform hands-on maintenance across our portfolio, handle interior and exterior repairs, and support daily operations in a multi-state environment.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely responsiveness, including on-call emergency service and coordination with grounds and mechanical systems. A two-year maintenance background and EPA or CFC certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of two years hands-on apartment maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and auto insurance.
• EPA or CFC certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing maintenance of the office, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
• Perform hands-on maintenance of the property, conduct overall inspections, repair, and general maintenance of interior and exterior areas.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Carry out various preventative maintenance functions and document findings in the maintenance log.
• Provide on-call emergency service as required.
• Work with general maintenance staff to maintain grounds and keep them free of trash and debris.
• Monitor and maintain all mechanical equipment in the community, including water heaters and HVAC units.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures; replace damaged or broken wires, cables, and components.
