Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform basic maintenance tasks and deep cleaning to keep guest rooms and public areas in excellent condition. You will assist with preventative maintenance, carry tools, and support maintenance reps while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety policies are followed.

The role requires lifting up to 100-300 pounds, standing for extended periods, and potential night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic non-skilled maintenance tasks.
• Comfort with manual labor and physical tasks.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, faucets, etc.).
• Carry tools, prepare worksite, and support maintenance staff.
• Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, and landscape as needed.
• Manage inventory and replenish supplies; minimize waste.
• Respond to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
