Job summary

LTD Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance in guest rooms and throughout the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and repair.

We require at least 1 year of maintenance experience, with knowledge of emergency procedures and strong attention to detail. This on-site role involves teamwork, safety compliance, and timely completion of work orders, including weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Ability to manage time to complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
• Effective communication with guests and colleagues to accurately convey information.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physical strength and dexterity to operate equipment and perform maintenance/cleaning duties including lifting heavy items.
• Reliable attendance with ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning in guest rooms and throughout the hotel to meet high standards of cleanliness and repair.
• Carry out guest room preventive maintenance and general cleaning per GC/PM guidelines.
• Record and log work performed; store files and reports as required.
• Monitor progress and results through control systems.
• Address guest and associate requests and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Comply with hotel and government operating procedures and report hazards.
• Work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction and attend Continuous Improvement Meetings.
• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
