Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and repair maintenance to keep guest rooms and public areas in top condition while delivering friendly, guest-focused service.

The role includes installing and repairing sheetrock and wall coverings, painting, basic electrical work, plumbing, and processing work orders. The position requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional holidays/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders related to replacing and repairing ceiling tiles, sheet-rock and wallpaper.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings; paint designated areas and items.
• Replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs and fixtures; perform minor plumbing functions.
• Focus on guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Follow Service Recovery Guidelines and sustainability guidelines (EarthView).
• Maintain curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, gardening, trash) and follow safety practices per MSDS/OSHA.
