Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep conveyors, automation, and production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs while documenting all work in CMMS and collaborating with a skilled team on continuous improvement.

The role requires 3 years of related experience, strong PLC/Excel skills, and the ability to travel up to 10% and lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment; basic Excel and PLC knowledge.
Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Must meet physical requirements: lift up to 50–75 lbs, stand long hours, work at heights when needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment.
Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and escalate to leadership when needed.
Document work in CMMS and maintain logs for equipment tests and reliability.
Conduct root-cause analysis of major downtime events and implement corrective actions.
Assist maintenance teammates and participate in facility/building projects as required.
Repair and assemble equipment to verify proper operation and production.
