Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to set up, maintain, and repair conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment at our Mundelein facility. Under limited supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production quality.

You will document work in CMMS, analyze downtime causes, and support building projects. Candidates should have strong mechanical skills, PLC troubleshooting, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Excel skills and PLC logic troubleshooting.
• 3 years of experience with conveyors, automation, or robotics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Document all work in CMMS and maintain operation logs for facility systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist with building projects and equipment assembly/testing as required.
• Analyze production delays and implement corrective actions.
