Peabody Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team at a Fenway apartment community in Boston. The role supports the Service Manager with daily, preventative, and emergency maintenance, ensuring safe, well-maintained properties.

Responsibilities cover electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks and keys, carpentry, painting, drywall, janitorial tasks, grounds and snow removal, and keeping common areas clean. On-call coverage after hours is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior facilities maintenance experience (≥3 years).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills and customer service mindset.
• On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• HVAC servicing and repair work.
• Appliance repair and troubleshooting.
• Locks & Keys management and security upkeep.
• Basic carpentry tasks.
• Painting and drywall repair.
• Janitorial, grounds and snow removal responsibilities.
• Maintaining cleanliness in common areas and exteriors.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies.
