Job summary

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at an apartment community in Boston's Fenway. The role supports the Service Manager with routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, locks and keys.

Responsibilities include maintaining building cleanliness, exterior grounds, and handling on-call maintenance after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in facilities maintenance.
• Able to communicate in English, written and verbal.
• On-call coverage after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable vehicle required.
• Solid computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances).
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and exterior grounds.
• Respond to maintenance needs promptly and coordinate with the Service Manager.
• Assist with lock & keys, carpentry, painting, drywall, and janitorial tasks.
