Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team at an apartment community in Fall River, MA. The technician will handle routine, preventative and emergency maintenance to support efficient property operations.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, carpentry, painting and drywall, janitorial tasks, and grounds maintenance. On-call coverage after hours, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Excellent communication in English, written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills and customer service abilities.
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks and keys, carpentry, painting and drywall.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and exterior grounds.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and safety concerns.
• Assist Service Manager to ensure efficient operation of property.
• Ensure on-call availability as needed.
