Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team at an apartment community in Roxbury, MA. The role requires evaluating a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with efficient operation of the property.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, carpentry, painting, janitorial, grounds and snow removal. On-call coverage is expected after hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills and customer service mindset.
• On-call coverage after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable vehicle to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repairs.
• Handle locks, carpentry, painting and drywall tasks.
• Maintain janitorial duties, grounds and snow removal.
• Ensure cleanliness of common areas and exterior grounds.
• Respond to maintenance issues promptly to support operations.
