Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform essential maintenance across our Minnesota properties. You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to resident service requests, complete make-ready tasks for vacants, and help keep buildings, grounds, and amenities clean and safe.

The role requires EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal, a valid driver’s license, and a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and material procurement.
• Tracks inventory, secures supplies, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Follows procedures to access materials and returns unused items to proper locations.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts whenever feasible.
