Job summary

Reno Ramada is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform preventative tasks in guest rooms and public areas at our Reno, NV location. You will troubleshoot minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues, maintain pool systems and chemicals, and repair equipment across hotel areas.

Applicants should have at least 6 months in maintenance, ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally), and be able to stand for extended periods. Certifications in HVAC/electrical/plumbing are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months of general maintenance experience (hotel preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
