Job summary

Columbus Colony Housing in Westerville, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep all areas of the property and surrounding grounds in top condition. You will complete work orders, troubleshoot appliances in resident units, and coordinate with the Housing Manager to prepare vacant units for new residents.

You will perform daily cleaning, landscape tasks, safety inspections, and emergency maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
• One (1) or more years of related maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, carpentry and related trades.
• Must be able to use a wide variety of hand and power tools and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas of the property and surroundings in good working order.
• Completes work orders and troubleshoots appliances in resident units.
• Conducts inspections, cleans common areas, and assists with unit turnover preparation.
• On-call 24/7 for emergency situations and coordinates with Housing Manager.
• Coordinates with vendors for larger maintenance projects.
