Job summary

Article Student Living is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH to uphold safety, appearance, and daily upkeep across the property. You will support maintenance operations and provide professional service to residents, with an emphasis on customer-friendly responses and a neat personal appearance.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will handle HVAC basics, appliance repair, drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance or construction work experience.
• Customer service focused with professional appearance.
• Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems and routine maintenance.
• Experience with appliance repair and installation (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers/dryers).
• Drywall repair and finishing to move-in-ready standards.
• Interior/exterior painting including prep and finishing.
• Basic plumbing knowledge for leaks, clogs, fixtures.
• Basic electrical knowledge for common outlet/switch/fixture repairs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure a safe environment for staff and residents.
• Resolve issues in the community and building properties.
• Provide suggestions for opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• On-call during certain times of the month.
