Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Montclair, CA is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

You will handle routine and preventative maintenance, make-readies for new leases, document work, and assist with cost controls. Requires 1-2 years of property maintenance, plumbing/electrical/HVAC experience, and EPA refrigerant certifications. On-site with housing discount and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• Experience in general apartment repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and turn projects.
• Troubleshooting, safety compliance, customer service, time management, and teamwork essential.
• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Carry out make-ready tasks for vacant units and prepare them for leasing.
• Access materials and manage inventory with the maintenance team.
• Document work and close service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and perform routine cleaning as needed.
• Contribute to cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
