Job summary

Yugo USA LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Missoula properties.

The role ensures safety and upkeep across the community, serving as a key liaison between residents and management to deliver a high-quality living experience. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing plumbing/electrical/paint/carpentry tasks, inspecting facilities, maintaining pools, and supporting on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification, if required by local regulation, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely, high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies with excellent service and follow-up communication.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry and other tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas to identify safety concerns.
• Maintain appearance, safety and functionality of property and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing inspections, repairs and turn activities.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment while complying with local safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory levels for tools and supplies; keep storage organized and secure.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures; participate in ongoing safety trainings.
• Communicate regularly with maintenance leadership and property management.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and relationships with residents, team members and vendors.
• Assist with additional maintenance and property-improvement projects as needed.
• May work near mechanical equipment at heights, or with fumes and chemicals; lift 50+ lbs.
